Description: This is a very rare variant of Smith’s
Green Mountain Renovator, especially when compared to the
“double rolled collar variant.” Amber with olive
tones, rectangular with wide beveled edges, iron pontil scar.
Blown at Stoddard Glass Works, Stoddard, NH, 1842-1860. There
is an in manufacturing ameliorating crack within the neck.
This stable cooling crack measure’s about 1” long.
Very difficult to see due to the crudity and color of the
glass without bright light. Otherwise perfect, a pristine
bottle with all the glass quality you could possibly hope
for from an early Stoddard Medicine.
