Description: Early variant established 1835 from the A.B.& D. Sands Family Recipe & Medical Almanac; 100 Fulton Street - NYC. They became one of New York’s largest Drug Wholesalers. Sands sold the business in 1875 to Schieffelin & Co (Compliments to Digger Odell’s Pontiled Medicine Encyclopedia). Rectangular, tapered collar. Pontiled American c. 1840.
