Description: Albert Baker was a well-known Cincinnati, Ohio physician in the 1840’s and 50’s and gave Amon Scovil sole agency for his compounded medicines. The Pain Panacea became a big money maker for him and Scovil made him junior partner in his business (Compliments Bill & Betty Wilson – 19th Century Glass.) Nice rich aquamarine color, embossed on sunken panels front and back, pontiled, c. 1850. American.
