Description:Medium yellowish olive green, hexagonal, applied sloping collared mouth blowpipe pontil scar, ht. 6 3/8”, near mint; (a tiny 1/8” flake at the base corner on the reverse, and a partially open small bubble on base, otherwise perfect). A bright, clean example with strong embossing. There is an attractive heavy swirl of extra glass on the interior that gives added character to the bottle. This bottle was likely blown at Stoddard. American c. 1840.
