Description:  Henry & Johnson from Burlington, VT were the sole proprietors of this scarce Vermont bitters. This is an excellent example of the “Calisaya Bitters,” the glass quality and color is very good. The label on this bitters indicated it was “A superior combination of barks, roots and herbs not hitherto attained by any other manufacturer of bitters. A sovereign remedy for dyspepsia, jaundice, constipation, loss of appetite and kindred diseases (from Carolyn Ring). Embossed on front and back.

Color: Rich amber – with red and puce tones.

Condition: Super crisp example. Excellent, minty.
