Made by W.G. Skinner Reading, MA. Advertised 1854 – 1861, for 15 years the manufacturing of this unequalled, invigorating, restorative Sherry Wine Bitters. Labeled examples read, “Dr. Skinners Recouperative Sherry Wine Bitters.” The embossing on the bevels is a bit unusual and attractive. America, 1850 – 1860. Aquamarine, rectangular with wide beveled corners, applied sloping collared mouth, pontil scar, ht. 8 5/8”.
