Description: Harrison G. Cary, began in Dayton, OH moved to Zanesville, OH. Advertised 1840-1885, for rheumatism, sprains, ague in the face of cholera.

Cary had a large family of  patent medicines including, “Cary's Cough Cure Syrup; Barrell's Indian Liniment; Barrell's Indian Vegetable Worm Confection; Cary's Indian Vegetable Liver Pills and Blood Purifier; Cary's Indian Eye Salve; Cary's Indian Vegetable Toothache Remedy; Cary's Cough Cure Troches; Cary's Cough Cure Syrup of Wild Cherry, Hoarhound, Tar, & c; Cary's Healing and Strengthening Salve; Cary's Buckeye Condition Powder.”

Rectangular, rolled lip, smooth base. With indented panels (some Barrels do not have indented panels). American C. 1860.
